About the event
Greetings, MCT Members and Friends,
At our August 6th club meeting, we confirmed that this month’s Mid‑Month Event will be an evening of stock car racing at Langley Speedway in Hampton on Saturday, August 29th, 2026.
As many of you know, Past MCT President Doug Samples operates JRN Racing, which fields Limited Late Model Car #66 on race weekends. To show our support for Doug, his team, and his son Nick, who drives car #66, we’ll be attending the races that night. Nick will be competing in two separate races, so we’ll have plenty to cheer for!
In addition to the Limited Late Models, the night’s schedule also includes racing in the UCARs, Enduros, Modifieds, Grand Stocks, Legends, and Bandoleros classes — a full evening of local short‑track excitement.
